Personal information,
handled with care.

This notice explains how Hola4 uses the information you choose to share through hola4.co.za. It is intended to support responsible handling in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

01

What we collect

When you send a project brief, we collect the information you provide: your name, business or organisation, contact details, project goals, preferred features, indicative budget, timing and any website address you share.

To protect the form from abuse, the server may also process technical request information. We store a one-way salted hash of the connection address for short-term rate limiting rather than storing the raw address in the lead record.

02

Why we use it

We use project-enquiry information to understand the request, recommend an appropriate route, respond to you, keep a useful record of the conversation and protect the form from misuse.

Submitting a project brief does not subscribe you to marketing communication and does not create a binding quotation or contract.

03

Where it is handled

Authorised people at Hola4 may access the enquiry where needed to respond. We may use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, secure lead storage, transactional email and privacy-conscious conversion measurement. These providers process information on our behalf and may operate infrastructure outside South Africa.

The planned enquiry pipeline uses Vercel for the secure server endpoint, Supabase for lead storage and Resend for transactional email. No database or email API secret is exposed in the browser.

04

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to assess the opportunity, manage any resulting relationship, maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable obligations. Enquiries that do not progress are reviewed for deletion periodically.

05

Your choices

You may ask what personal information Hola4 holds about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information where the law allows. Email info@hola4.co.za and include enough detail for us to identify the relevant enquiry.

You may also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator if you have a concern about the handling of personal information.
